Auf der Entwicklerkonferenz Google I/O wurde vor kurzem die dritte Beta Version von Android Q präsentiert. Mit dieser halten viele neue Features Einzug. Dazu gehört auch eine verbesserte Oberfläche mit nativem Darkmode, welcher gerade für Smartphones mit OLED Display Einsparungen beim Energieverbrauch verspricht. Zudem hat Google die Gestensteuerung von Android nochmals verbessert und verabschiedet sich endgültig vom Zurück-Button. Stattdessen wischt man nun vom linken oder rechten Rand um zurück zu gehen. Das gleiche Konzept nutzt Xiaomi schon seit längerer Zeit in der Gestensteuerung von MIUI.

Apropos Xiaomi: Android Q Beta 3 wird den Weg auf diverse China Handys finden. Die Images sollen bereits in den kommenden Stunden Online gehen und stehen dann für alle zum Testen bereit. Für Xiaomi Smartphones werden ROMs für das Mi 9 und das Mi Mix 3 5G bereit stehen (Update: Download [hier](https://www.mi.com/global/androidqbeta/) und [hier](https://www.mi.com/global/androidqbeta/)). Darüber hinaus werden diese Modelle anderer Hersteller mit einer Beta ROM versorgt:
